I provided legal consulting to citizens on a variety of issues in the field of consumer rights protection,
also I’ve provided assistance for making claims and worked to solve problems and protect the health
of the population.
Also I could try myself as interpreter at the 3 rd
International Women's Handball Tournament to
commemorate V.I. Sizov, President of the handball team,which gathered teams from Russia, Poland
and Romania. I provided interpretation during the tournament for several days. I have been officially
requested by the Ministry of Sports of Astrakhan region to participate in the tournament as volunteer
interpreter.

I have been involved into the terminology project implementation for the World Intellectual Property
Organization. The idea was for me as the student to work on concepts that weren’t yet covered in
WIPO Pearl - a multilingual terminology database- that is I was supposed to choose terms that were
not already available online in WIPO Pearl. Eventually my records on Obesity Treatment have been
imported into the PCT Termbase and published in WIPO Pearl and identified as the result of
collaboration with my university.

As a MA student of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and
Translation I have defended my graduation project. On June 25, I presented my
master thesis to the Attestation Commission and together with my scientific
supervisor conducted research on cinematography – in the context of interpretation
and translation. It was approved that my project is always relevant and practically
oriented. All the issues covered in my thesis were actively discussed. The
Commission members commended the scope and practical importance of my
research results which will likely to help future professionals in their linguistic
career.
I have also passed the comprehensive exam included tasks on consecutive
and simultaneous interpretation, it included as well a presentation of the results of
my terminology project and an interview on the theoretical and methodological
principles of work with terminology.
Besides I have been involved into the terminology project implementation
for the World Intellectual Property Organization. The idea was for me as the

I also attended The Advanced Course in Conference Interpreting, the
Astrakhan regional branch of the Union of Translators of Russia. Moreover I
attended different workshops, including ones by prominent people among which is
an interpreter of the Directorate-General for Interpretation of the European
Commission. The DG SCIC expert is a frequent guest at my University. Topics of
speeches he prepares for interpretation classes are always a special intrigue. His
speeches highlighted the problems of EU’s energy and climate policy as well.
Thanks to these memorable topics I not only had an opportunity to practise
consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, but also received valuable food for
thought on this particular issue.
I would also like to mention the master classes of such a top-rank T & I expert
as an interpreter of the Russian booth of the UN Office at Vienna which I had an
opportunity to attend. Over the course of it I interpreted the most iconic and
challenging speeches on social issues from the latest sessions of the UN General
Assembly and even dealt with a “vintage” speech of 1970s.
I have a good command of the English language which would enable me to
adjust easily to an English-speaking environment. Since I am very interested in this
opportunity I am confident that I am a strong candidate for this position.
